About Me

Hi, I'm Szu-Hsuan. I am an easy-going, detail-oriented, problem-solving, and responsible person. I like to build great software with new technologies.

I graduated from National Chung Cheng University with a master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering. I focused on data mining and data retrieval when I was in graduate school.

After graduation, I worked in back-end development for about 4 years. I’m currently working at DeepWave, which is a startup with multiple AI audio analysis services. I participated in two products, member system, smart factory project, and other to B projects.

The main products of DeepWave are Sovia and Hullaballoo:

Sovia: A singing voice separation service. Users can upload audio files, and use this service to separate vocals and background music. It can help users do more applications, such as making karaoke tapes.
Hullaballoo: An online noise cancellation service. YouTubers, podcasters, or other users may have noises in outdoor recordings, such as wind, traffic, etc. They can use this service to extract the background noise to improve the clarity of the voice in the audio or video.

I also participated in:

Member system: Including user authentication and payment function that integrates Newebpay API and EzPay invoice API.
Smart factory project: We can judge whether maintenance is needed by identifying whether the machine sound is abnormal. It can help the factory to easily monitor whether the machine is abnormal.

In these products and projects, I’m responsible for designing back-end architecture, building RESTful APIs with Python, Flask, and FastAPI, and maintaining services.

In addition, I also refactored the music crawler and reduced the crawling time by 17%. I also introduced coding guidelines, GitLab flow, and part of CI/CD.

I’m familiar with Python/Flask/FastAPI, Node.js/Express, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, and Nginx. I also have experience with Docker/Docker-Compose, AWS, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Unit test, and CI/CD.

In future work, I hope that I can keep learning and grow up.
